Q: What is Direct Connect?
A: Direct Connect is our new HR online portal that will enable you to Learn More, Get Help or Take Action at any time and place that is convenient for you. You can access Direct Connect by logging in to https://epicemployee.vailresorts.com/, selecting if you want to Get Help or Take Action and then entering your employee ID and password. You will continue to view self-service items (things like your paycheck and benefits enrollment) in the Take Action portion of Direct Connect.
Use for: Pay, Benefits, Employee Discounts, every day questions
Default Login for Direct Connect | Learn More & Get Help: Employee ID and P$wdmmddyy (mmddyy = date of birth)
Default Login for Direct Connect | Take Action: Employee ID and your existing my.VailResorts.com password, new users will use default P$wdmmddyy (mmddyy = date of birth). Use the 'Forgot Password' prompt if you can't remember your my.VailResorts.com password.
Q: What is People Connect?
A: People Connect is our dedicated and knowledgeable HR team connecting with you when it matters most. The best way to reach the People Connect team is to ask a question in Direct Connect, which will open a case for you where you can track updates and closure. If your question requires immediate contact with the People Connect team, you can search 'Help' in Direct Connect to find the direct line to a People Connect team member. The People Connect team will respond to questions seven days a week, with phone support Monday-Saturday from 6 a.m.-7 p.m (MST) and Direct Connect case support (no phones) on Sundays from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (MST).
Use for: Complicated questions where a centralize HR service team is needed via phone or online 7 days a week. Login to Direct Connect, click your questions category, if you do not see the answer you can complete a form.
You can reach People Connect in three convenient ways:
Online: Open a Service Case based on your specific question.
Email: Email PeopleConnect@VailResorts.com and a service case will automatically be created for you.
Phone: You can reach People Connect Monday-Saturday from 6:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. (MST) by calling 303-404-1900 (U.S.) or 604-938-7878 (Canada). (Have your 6 digit Vail Employee ID number handy)
Do you have Spanish-speaking employees who need help? They can call People Connect or let us know in the Service Case comments that they speak Spanish, and they will receive support in Spanish.
Q: What if I am having trouble with passwords?
First check HERE for password information
Call the IT Support Center @ 970-754-4357 (U.S.) and 604-938-5500 (CAN).
Your my.vailresorts.com password will be the same, but you will have to login to the “Direct Connect” portal with the default, then you can change it.

Q: Where can I get systems or knowledge help?
We encourage you to provide feedback on knowledge and systems so we can continuously improve. There are two mechanisms for reporting:
1) To give feedback on knowledge articles - If your question wasn't adequately answered click ‘no’ to ‘was it helpful?’ and input details into the comment box.
2) To get system, transaction or process help - Search for ‘Request HR Systems Support’ in Direct Connect | Learn More & Get Help, and fill out the form.
