What is EpicEmployee?

EpicEmployee is a digital platform that:

  • Enhances convenience and accessibility to many of the tools and systems we currently use.

  • Galvanizes our culture and community through localized content and information.

You can access EpicEmployee from a computer, tablet or phone via a mobile-responsive website – EpicEmployee.VailResorts.com – or from a downloadable app. It looks and functions the same way regardless of how you access, and you have multiple options.

EpicEmployee also contains content for employees who have accepted a job at Vail Resorts but have not yet received an employee ID. These individuals can access Before You Start Working content without logging in. This content includes a new hire checklist and cultural information to get new employees ready and excited to work at Vail Resorts!

Once these employees receive their Vail Resorts User ID, there is additional onboarding information in the My Location section of EpicEmployee, including a final hire checklist and check-in information.

How do I access Epic Employee?

You can access EpicEmployee from a computer, tablet or phone via a mobile-responsive website: EpicEmployee.VailResorts.com. Or, you can download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. It looks and functions the same way regardless of how you access, and you have multiple options.

Active employees: to access the Employee Login, you must first agree to the terms and conditions. To do so:

  1. Go to Required Notices in your Employee Action Center

  2. Select EpicEmployee Terms

  3. Review and click the electronic signature at the bottom of the page, then click submit. (You will know your submission went through when you see the date populate next to your employee name and ID and the submit button becomes grayed out.)

Once you hit submit to complete this step, you will gain access to EpicEmployee within three hours. 

Once three hours have passed, visit EpicEmployee again and log in using your Vail Resorts User ID.

Please note that when you first start using EpicEmployee, you may be promoted to participate in multi-factor authentication (MFA) regularly. This should become less common over time as it learns your regular behavior and patterns.

How do I access Epic Employee when I am on SIS?

If you are in an inactive employee visit EpicEmployee.VailResorts.com and select Alumni to access all the information you need.  Click the link for Direct Connect: Take Action to:

  • View and download your W2, T4 and other tax documents

  • Access paycheck documents

  • Update your address

To log into Direct Connect: Take Action, use these credentials:

Username: your Employee ID number

Default Password: P$wdMMDDYY (six digit birthday)
